First Baptist Penn Hills under the leadership of Rev. James Emory Hunt has a history of training and sending members of the congregation on short-term mission trips to assist and evangelize those in need throughout the world. Congregants have served on mission teams to Russia , Haiti , Jamaica and Mexico .
