First Baptist Penn Hills corporately and individually observe “Lent.” “Lent begins on “Ash Wednesday” and concludes “Holy Saturday.” This is a 40-day period preceding Easter and is devoted to fasting, abstinence, and penitence in commemoration of Christ's fasting in the wilderness.
